Downloaded: Visual Studio Code. It has an extension that allows me to launch a local server directly from the application. The extension (called “live server”) also automatically refreshes the page so I don’t have to manually refresh the page. This is convenient because the TextEdit application I was using before did not have this- I would have to open the files in TextEdit and then find and open the folders from my desktop.

Added an audio file to my web page… not extremely impressive yet. Spent a few minutes creating an audio clip to put on my page



Watching a khan academy video on HTML and CSS.

the videos were pretty repetitive- Iv’e learned almost everything that they had covered already, but it was a good review.

At the end of the week I downloaded adobe illustrator- plan of creating a logo for my website. Started a writeup for the design for my website in Google slides. Continued watching the khan academy tutorials.
